At Kenyons, we love nothing more than bringing people together over great food, drink, and conversation. Recently, we’ve had the joy of hosting a couple of truly unforgettable evenings — experiences that reminded us why we love what we do so much.
One highlight was welcoming Frederico, the Export Manager from Angelini Wines and Estates, all the way from Italy. Frederico joined us to showcase Bertani Wines, guiding our guests through its fascinating history and rich heritage. It was an extraordinary evening, filled with stories of traditional winemaking, passion, and dedication that have been passed down through generations. Guests were able to taste a selection of Bertani’s finest wines while hearing directly from someone who knows the estate inside out. The atmosphere was warm and engaging, and it was wonderful to see everyone so absorbed in the journey — learning, tasting, and appreciating the dedication behind every bottle.
Another highlight was a Whisky Tasting Evening with Mark, the International Brand Ambassador for Bladnoch Whisky. Mark led us on an incredible journey through Bladnoch’s history, sharing stories from the distillery’s past, the craftsmanship involved, and what makes this Scottish whisky so distinctive. Guests were treated to a tasting experience that paired beautifully with conversation, curiosity, and plenty of appreciation for the skill and artistry in every dram.
What made both evenings so special was not just the incredible drinks, but the chance to create a space where people could connect, learn, and enjoy something out of the ordinary. Hosting experts like Frederico and Mark allowed us to offer a unique experience — one where every guest could feel part of something a little bit extraordinary, tasting, learning, and appreciating the passion behind the products we love.
These evenings also reminded us of the joy that comes from sharing knowledge and stories. It’s one thing to serve great wine or whisky, but it’s another to take people on a journey — to help them understand the history, the craftsmanship, and the people behind every bottle. That’s what makes tasting events so memorable, and it’s something we hope to continue offering at Kenyons.
