Our Story
Kenyon’s opened its doors in June 2024, tucked away in the quiet village of Frogmore — a little hidden gem that’s well worth finding. From the beginning, our aim has been simple: to bring people together. Our mission is to champion community values by offering exceptional hospitality, showcasing quality local produce, and providing excellent wines and speciality products to our surrounding area. Looking ahead, we hope to grow our services into neighbouring communities, widening our reach while staying true to the art of hospitality and the joy of sharing good food and drink.
OUTSTANDING CUISINE
Kenyon’s is very much a labour of love. With over 20 years in hospitality, Kris began his career in the kitchen before moving into front of house, and Naomi spent around a decade in the industry alongside earning a degree in illustration. Having met while working in hospitality, it felt completely natural that we would eventually create something of our own. In just our first 18 months, we’ve become a proud part of the Frogmore community and the wider Kingsbridge area. Along the way, we’ve embraced new challenges — from tapas evenings to special chef-led menus crafted in our tiny café — and we were thrilled to win the Muddy Stilettos Award for Best Café in Devon, a milestone made possible entirely by the support of our amazing customers.
Experience
As a husband-and-wife team, we bring our shared love for the buzz of hospitality into everything we do. Kris brings extensive experience in both the kitchen and front of house and has a deep passion for wine, while Naomi brings creativity, warmth, and a talent for the small details that make people feel welcome. Together, we believe in curating moments — whether it’s a simple coffee and cake or an intimate, exclusive dining experience.
Crafted with Care, Served with Soul
During the day, Kenyon’s is a cosy coffee shop serving specialty coffee from Triple Co Roast in Bristol. We offer a handpicked selection of
beautiful wines, as well as a curated range of delicious products from Devon, Spain, and Italy. Our baked-in-house Basque cheesecake has become a local favourite, alongside other homemade treats. We also offer catering — from high tea and sandwiches to cakes and charcuterie tables — with the same care and attention we bring to the café.
What sets us apart is our commitment to community, our willingness to diversify, and the pride we take in every plate, cup, and experience we offer. Our atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, built on genuine connection. At Kenyon’s, our guiding principle is simple: offer amazing products and create memorable experiences that make every customer feel special and valued — because they truly are.
